  1. Renowned British children’s writer and performance poet, Michael Rosen has been honored with the esteemed PEN Pinter Prize 2023. 
  2. United Nations’ first ever International Day of Women in Diplomacy was observed on 24 June, 2023 to recognize the role of Women in diplomacy as in furthering the Socio-Economic Equitable and Inclusive Sustainable Development. The theme of International Day of Women in Diplomacy 2023 is “Breaking Barriers, Shaping the Future: Women in Diplomacy for Sustainable Development”.
  3. Paragon restaurant in the heart of Kozhikode City has been chosen as one of the most legendary restaurants in the world by Taste Atlas, a Croatia-based online food guide. The restaurant is ranked 11th among the 150 most legendary restaurants in the world.
  4. The Ministry of External Affairs declared that trade between India and Malaysia can now be conducted using the Indian Rupee (INR) as a mode of settlement, in addition to other currencies.
  5. Indian Government announced the extension of Brajendra Navnit’s tenure as Ambassador and Permanent Representative of India to the World Trade Organization (WTO) by nine months.
